As the leader of the U3A Art Group, I’m thrilled to announce our latest Art Exhibition, running from 4 to 27 February 2025 at the Yate Heritage Centre. This marks the first community art exhibition at the Heritage Centre this year and promises to be a celebration of creativity, showcasing the diverse talents of our group members.
Each artist is exhibiting up to three pieces, with many available for purchase. The works on display reflect a range of styles and subjects, from landscapes to portraits, making this exhibition a must-visit for anyone who appreciates local art.

Tuesday–Thursday: 10am–4pm
Saturday: 10am–3pm
This event follows the success of our debut exhibition at Yate Library in June 2024 and builds on our group’s growing presence in the local arts scene. It’s wonderful to see how much passion and talent our members bring to their work, and this exhibition is a perfect opportunity to share that with the wider community.
I’m especially proud to be part of a group that not only fosters creativity but also builds friendships and mutual support. The U3A Art Group is part of Yate & Sodbury District U3A, a thriving branch of the national U3A movement that encourages lifelong learning and social connection for those no longer in full-time employment.
